None of the strong winds that all the forecasts predicted ……. scaremongers the lot of them!
Took a stroll along the front, looked out at the ‘array’ of wind turbines in the channel, sampled the whitebait at the local chippy and then made our way to the Royal Temple Yacht Club …… It sounds posh, but it’s not at all. The last time we were here was when we brought Chandie around from Titchmarsh Marina to the Solent and we met Jenni and The Byrons at the club. Happy memories!

The weather looks bad for tomorrow ……. even the Navy boats have come in for shelter. I think we’ll leave the sea to settle down for a day or two before we venture across the estuary.
